Cesare Chiarelli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Genaro Sidro made a huge save. 1984 Castelli Futbol's Cesar Macario managed to work through Rondeau's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Cesar Macario dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 8 minutes into the match, Rondeau's goalkeeper Genaro Sidro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabian Rywin. 9 minutes into the game, Arnoldo Izotz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rondeau's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 1984 Castelli Futbol the free kick. Arnoldo Izotz kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. With a little luck, Rondeau's Genaro Sidro got control of the ball when Cesar Macario tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 11th minute, Sergio Maxin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cesar Macario scored 1-0 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Genaro Sidro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of 1984 Castelli Futbol booed when Rondeau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Kemen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Cesar Macario managed to get in a good position for a shot. 1984 Castelli Futbol's supporters rose to their feet, but Cesar Macario was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Genaro Sidro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17th minute Fabian Rywin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genaro Sidro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Cesare Chiarelli kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Genaro Sidro. That made the score 2-0 in the 18 minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Rondeau's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Rywin came free, but Genaro Sidro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edu Atila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnoldo Izotz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, 1984 Castelli Futbol's Benigno Remigio got a free kick in the 24th minute. Rondeau's Genaro Sidro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Rondeau from getting a goal against them. Ariel Ledesma hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After 37 minutes, Justino Roderigo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rondeau and the 1984 Castelli Futbol players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 37 played minutes Rondeau got a freekick which was hit by Justino Roderigo. Ramon Kemen hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Genaro Sidro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Rywin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute of the match 1984 Castelli Futbol got a corner. Rondeau's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cesare Chiarelli ran over to the corner to take the kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Genaro Sidro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesar Macario, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 62nd minute, Fabian Rywin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 1984 Castelli Futbol fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Ramon Kemen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rondeau's Matias Feliz was substituted for Justino Roderigo. Rondeau's Geronimo Estebe was substituted for Arnoldo Izotz. 69 minutes into the game, 1984 Castelli Futbol's Fabian Rywin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Genaro Sidro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesar Macario in the 73rd minute of play forced Rondeau's goalkeeper Genaro Sidro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ariel Ledesma hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match.
