Gaudencio Eufemio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Gaudencio Eufemio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Sustrai in the 13th minute of the match. Enrique Bartoleme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardino Lano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Gaudencio Eufemio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience was convinced that Bernardino Lano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enrique Bartoleme was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Gaudencio Eufemio made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Orlando Sustrai sent off a good shot on target. Enrique Bartoleme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amador Sauveur, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Vaqueteros FC's Gaudencio Eufemio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Fonso in the 67th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Tiburcio Txanton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vaqueteros FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tiburcio Txanton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enrique Bartoleme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 80th minute, Vaqueteros FC's Bernardino Lano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Enrique Bartoleme. Enrique Bartoleme yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. After recieving a nice pass, Vaqueteros FC's Tiburcio Txanton tried to score from far away in the 83rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 86 minutes into the match, Bernardino Lano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enrique Bartoleme. Los Materos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernardino Lano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernardino Lano got free with Enrique Bartoleme in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vaqueteros FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
