A collision led to Riesgo Cero getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Emilio Liher hit a great ball. Nestor Kirchner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narciso Belarmo, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. After 7 played minutes Monky FC got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Azeari. In the 10th minute, Gualterio Pinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cleto Ourente in the 11th minute of play forced Riesgo Cero's goalkeeper Nestor Kirchner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Monky FC booed when Riesgo Cero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teo Bernad didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the game, Honorato Eneto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Gaston Boniel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 22 minutes into the match, Monky FC's goal looked a bit too open when Honorato Eneto came free, but Gaston Boniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th match minute, Riesgo Cero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ariel Fidele to maneuver through the defense. Nestor Kirchner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciso Belarmo in the 27th minute of play. When Narciso Belarmo came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Monky FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Narciso Belarmo couldn't finish the play. If Adan Beltza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Riesgo Cero's Nestor Kirchner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Belarmo in the 32nd minute of play. Nestor Kirchner didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cleto Ourente went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 36th minute Venancio Ricart shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Kirchner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nestor Kirchner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gervasio Tajo, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Gaston Boniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorato Eneto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the match, Monky FC's goalkeeper Gaston Boniel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Celedonio Xacintu. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Monky FC's Niceto Hotz was substituted for Cleto Ourente. Nestor Kirchner made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Venancio Ricart sent off a good shot on target. Honorato Eneto took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gaston Boniel. Gaston Boniel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Narciso Belarmo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monky FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Narciso Belarmo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nestor Kirchner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 65 minutes of play, Monky FC's Narciso Belarmo made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nestor Kirchner was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nestor Kirchner was out of position in the 76 minute of play, and Narciso Belarmo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Narciso Belarmo really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. Nestor Kirchner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jessie Fux in the 79th minute. Nestor Kirchner was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Narciso Belarmo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 81 minute of play. In the 89th minute Narciso Belarmo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Kirchner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nestor Kirchner made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Melquiades Niguel sent off a good shot on target. Monky FC's Gaston Boniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adan Beltza in the 95th minute of play.
