Timoteo Koldobika was slow to take the kick. During this time Cosquín FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 19th match minute, Aerolineas Argentinas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesus Maxin to maneuver through the defense. Angelino Liberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timoteo Koldobika in the 21st minute of play. In the 44th minute Daniel Argina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelino Liberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vicente Theobald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Angelino Liberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Zeledon Orti made the kick off in the second half. If Vicente Theobald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vicente Theobald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angelino Liberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dante Gabirel, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. When the match was over Cosquín FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Aerolineas Argentinas FC throughout the match.
