That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. Zeledon Veremundo hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Horacio Mouricio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Go Vegan's Humberto Diegotxe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godofredo Aballe in the 20th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Go Vegan's Fabian Katia got a free kick in the 21st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cosme Guzman got free with Humberto Diegotxe in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Ramon Frichoso fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Go Vegan's protests and gave Ramon Frichoso a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd minute, Ramon Frichoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Humberto Diegotxe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Urre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Humberto Diegotxe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godofredo Aballe, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. When Zeledon Veremundo fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Trip's protests and gave Zeledon Veremundo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Los Trip getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Zeledon Veremundo hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Ceferino Grabiel took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Humberto Diegotxe to make any attempt to save it. When Ramon Frichoso was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 38 minutes had been played. The supporters of Los Trip booed when Go Vegan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Frichoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Humberto Diegotxe made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Cosme Guzman sent off a good shot on target. When Gilberto Karmel fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Go Vegan's protests and gave Gilberto Karmel a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Go Vegan's Gilberto Karmel got a free kick in the 40th minute. Go Vegan's Humberto Diegotxe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Urre in the 42nd minute of play. Cosme Guzman succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 46th playminute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Horacio Mouricio was the one to do the kick off. With an all-out effort, Go Vegan's Nemesio Alonso threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Horacio Mouricio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 62 minutes into the game, Los Trip's Carlos Urre nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Humberto Diegotxe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Horacio Mouricio took a quick shot and it went in 4-2 without a chance for Nemesio Alonso to make any attempt to save it. Humberto Diegotxe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosme Guzman, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. When Gilberto Karmel was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 80 minutes had been played. In the 80th match minute, Go Vegan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Karmel to maneuver through the defense. Horacio Mouricio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86th minute, Carlos Urre left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Trip fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. Horacio Mouricio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nemesio Alonso having to make a save. For all the effort they put into the match, the Go Vegan players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Los Trip.
