Juan Sergi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Nicolas Maties made a huge save. Ceferino Cuervo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nicolas Maties came out and tried to block the shot, but Ceferino Cuervo slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Braulio Sandaili in the 21st minute of play forced CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854's goalkeeper Nicolas Maties to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute, Juan Sergi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The San Lorenzo de Sarandi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Eusebio Fe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Arce in the 33rd minute of the match. After 35 minutes San Lorenzo de Sarandi's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aquilino Sarracino who took care of the corner kick. Aquilino Sarracino made a great header on CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854's corner, it was just that San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Eusebio Fe managed to reach the ball for a save. Through an outstanding action, after 36 minutes, Nicolas Maties successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Emanuel Maria was slow to take the kick. During this time San Lorenzo de Sarandi's players had a chance to rest. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francisco Guerrero made a kick off. Nicolas Maties showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Sergi in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Ceferino Cuervo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Mónico Geller was substituted for Juan Sergi. A collision led to San Lorenzo de Sarandi getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Ceferino Cuervo hit a great ball. 64 minutes into the game, San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Mónico Geller nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicolas Maties made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. San Lorenzo de Sarandi made a substitution. Delmar Abar replaced Braulio Sandaili. 73 minutes into the match, CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854's goal looked a bit too open when Ceferino Cuervo came free, but Nicolas Maties reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicolas Maties made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Jatsu in the 75th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Ceferino Cuervo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicolas Maties was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. The San Lorenzo de Sarandi fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Ceferino Cuervo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Guerrero couldn't finish the play. In the 95th minute, Eduardo Jatsu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicolas Maties was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. San Lorenzo de Sarandi were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854 for a fine match.
