The audience thought a goal was coming when Tadeusz Cwojdak got free with Gustaw Lech in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of FC ZARZECZE booed when FC Saxon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wojciech Piesciuk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gustaw Lech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrick Crippa, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 18th minute FC Saxon were awarded a corner. Stasio Gniech went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on FC Saxon's corner Stasio Gniech fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jedrzej Gotfryd quite easily take care of the ball. After 21 minutes, Patrick Crippa made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. FC Saxon's Gustaw Lech tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jedrzej Gotfryd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marian Jaks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute Marian Jaks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jedrzej Gotfryd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC Saxon eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
