After a rather tough play, Kania Gostyń's Adam Walkowski got a free kick in the 18th minute. Cezary Gruchacz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leo Campana in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Edward Mielak, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 29th match minute, KS LEW Chorzów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jedrzej Hajs to maneuver through the defense. Leo Campana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Kania Gostyń booed when KS LEW Chorzów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Bugajski didn't get a good kick on the ball. The KS LEW Chorzów players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kania Gostyń were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edgar Degas to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Kania Gostyń's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Campana came free, but Edward Mielak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Leo Campana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edward Mielak was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. After 55 minutes, Fryderyk Pluciennik mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kania Gostyń and the KS LEW Chorzów players grew even worse after the yellow card. The KS LEW Chorzów fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Edward Mielak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Campana in the 75th minute of play. KS LEW Chorzów's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dariusz Misiewicz in the 76th minute. The corner led KS LEW Chorzów's Ali Hamza Okuyan to fire away a dangerous shot which Edward Mielak despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 78th minute, Leo Campana ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edward Mielak was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leo Campana in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edward Mielak saved Kania Gostyń from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Edgar Degas put it in 5-2 from a short distance just to the right of Edward Mielak. Edgar Degas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kania Gostyń's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leo Campana was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-2. KS LEW Chorzów walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
