The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. UNITED GWAREK's Borys Lewkowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tymoteusz Siekierski in the 10th minute of play. After some careless play in the UNITED GWAREK defense, Marek Chlebek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Borys Lewkowicz. The UNITED GWAREK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Borys Lewkowicz should have stopped the shot. Kazimierz Debkowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Alfred Bator tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Kazimierz Debkowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olaf Zacharzewski in the 30th minute of play forced ◄19A10►Brunsberga's goalkeeper Alfred Bator to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Igor Zdrojowy took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Borys Lewkowicz. Borys Lewkowicz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. If Marek Chlebek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wlodzimierz Duda during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogumil Dombrowski in the 48th minute of play forced ◄19A10►Brunsberga's goalkeeper Alfred Bator to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kazimierz Debkowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Igor Zdrojowy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wlodzimierz Duda took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Borys Lewkowicz. Borys Lewkowicz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Kazimierz Debkowski hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the game, Marek Chlebek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Borys Lewkowicz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 66th match minute, ◄19A10►Brunsberga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Piotr Ludwiczak to maneuver through the defense. In the 71stth minute of the game Marek Chlebek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but UNITED GWAREK's Borys Lewkowicz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Borys Lewkowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marek Chlebek in the 73rd minute of the match. Alfred Bator made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olaf Zacharzewski in the 74th minute. In the 77th minute, Olaf Zacharzewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Igor Zdrojowy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Borys Lewkowicz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Borys Lewkowicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marek Chlebek, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Wlodzimierz Duda scored 5-1 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Borys Lewkowicz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alfred Bator took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maksymilian Gongolewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. UNITED GWAREK's Borys Lewkowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marek Chlebek in the 97th minute of play.
