The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the match, FK Poolisti's goal looked a bit too open when Sigitas Ivoška came free, but Agnis Kairāns reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, FK Mintis Vilnius's goalkeeper Tautvydas Mickevičius had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Artūrs Tiltiņš. FK Poolisti were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after FK Mintis Vilnius's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Artūrs Tiltiņš took the corner. The supporters of FK Mintis Vilnius booed when FK Poolisti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mairis Strautnieks didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute Sigitas Ivoška shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agnis Kairāns saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the game, FK Mintis Vilnius's Sigitas Ivoška nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Agnis Kairāns made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Artūrs Tiltiņš was extremely unlucky when he, in the 29th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Mairis Strautnieks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute, Artūrs Tiltiņš hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When FK Mintis Vilnius's Sigitas Ivoška in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FK Poolisti's goalie prevented a goal. 41 minutes into the match, FK Poolisti's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelijus Balūzis came free, but Agnis Kairāns reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th match minute, FK Mintis Vilnius was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sigitas Sakalauskas to maneuver through the defense. Agnis Kairāns took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sigitas Ivoška, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The FK Poolisti players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FK Mintis Vilnius were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Sigitas Ivoška made the kick off in the second half. Aurelijus Balūziss short, quick shot in the 51stth minute got Agnis Kairāns to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Andrius Bekeris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Agnis Kairāns showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrius Bekeris in the 58th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Rainers Konuševskis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rainers Konuševskis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tautvydas Mickevičius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mairis Strautnieks in the 73rd minute of play. Domas Jančiauskas kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, FK Poolisti's goalkeeper Agnis Kairāns had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aurelijus Balūzis. With a little luck, FK Poolisti's Agnis Kairāns got control of the ball when Sigitas Ivoška tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Sigitas Ivoška kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Agnis Kairāns. That made the score 0-2 in the 85 minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Mairis Strautnieks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
