Andoni Viguri hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Hank Ula made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Llanos Vinegra in the 14th minute of play. Ismael Rivera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Spychalski in the 17th minute of play. In the 17thth minute of the game Edgar Spychalski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlético Municipal's Ismael Rivera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Atlético Municipal were furious when Cristian Acevedo was red carded, 19 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The supporters of ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ booed when Atlético Municipal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Acevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Municipal's zone, Genaro Domenec stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ismael Rivera came out of the goal and Genaro Domenec tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ulises Farias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Ismael Rivera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ booed when Atlético Municipal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximo Albalate didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zeno Sama took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ismael Rivera. Ismael Rivera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 34th minute, Bobby Valentin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute, Genaro Domenec sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Atlético Municipal's Ismael Rivera didn't even have to move. Hank Ula showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Llanos Vinegra, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Atlético Municipal's goal looked a bit too open when Zeno Sama came free, but Ismael Rivera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ismael Rivera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulises Farias in the 46th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Atlético Municipal's Valiente Rivera was substituted for Kinsen Calzado. 54 minutes into the match, Atlético Municipal's goal looked a bit too open when Zeno Sama came free, but Ismael Rivera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s goal looked a bit too open when Llanos Vinegra came free, but Hank Ula reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ismael Rivera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeno Sama in the 59th minute of the match. Atlético Municipal's Ismael Rivera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xandro Sarasola in the 66th minute of play. After 75 played minutes, ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Genaro Domenec shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ismael Rivera came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ reached it. In the 77th minute, Anthonio Zeppeli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Ismael Rivera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joan-Manuel Joestar, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 87 minutes into the match, Atlético Municipal's goal looked a bit too open when Joan-Manuel Joestar came free, but Ismael Rivera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Joan-Manuel Joestar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ismael Rivera. That made the score 1-3 in the 89 minute of play. Joan-Manuel Joestar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Ismael Rivera made a huge save. In the 93rd minute, Cayetano Hoa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
