Maule Ociña kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. 5 minutes into the game, Garin Paderniga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Libertadores Fútbol Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave America De Cali the free kick. Garin Paderniga hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 6th minute of the game, Garin Paderniga landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 6 minutes into the game, Cristiano Cigaran was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. America De Cali's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Libertadores Fútbol Club the free kick. If Artizar Vilardell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to America De Cali getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Ler Cayuso hit a great ball. In the 14th minute, Pellas Ocerin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Evelio Vaquero. The goal made the score 1-0. America De Cali's attack was well implemented in the 30th minute, but when Pellas Ocerin was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Evelio Vaquero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pellas Ocerin in the 33rd minute. In the 33rdth minute of the game Vincent Burguete who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Libertadores Fútbol Club's Evelio Vaquero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 37th minute, Vincent Burguete got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Artizar Vilardell came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Libertadores Fútbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artizar Vilardell couldn't finish the play. In the 41st minute, America De Cali's Zacarias Ariste ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Evelio Vaquero. Evelio Vaquero yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Evelio Vaquero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zacarias Ariste in the 44th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Artizar Vilardell stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Artizar Vilardell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Bikendi Oyarzabal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evelio Vaquero came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by America De Cali's Vincent Burguete. But to his dismay, Vincent Burguete quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Evelio Vaquero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pellas Ocerin, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 59th minute, Zacarias Ariste made a precise shot to the right of Evelio Vaquero. Libertadores Fútbol Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Petri Valdeboys charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Petri Valdeboys the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Petri Valdeboys hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Evelio Vaquero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vincent Burguete in the 67th minute of play. The supporters of America De Cali booed when Libertadores Fútbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remicio Balda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivon Notes hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. 77 minutes into the game, Maule Ociña cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Evelio Vaquero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Evelio Vaquero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pellas Ocerin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes into the match, Libertadores Fútbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Vincent Burguete came free, but Evelio Vaquero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Libertadores Fútbol Club's Artizar Vilardell sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bikendi Oyarzabal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 88th minute Pellas Ocerin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evelio Vaquero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th match minute, Libertadores Fútbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Montel Lavalle to maneuver through the defense. America De Cali walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
