After 12 played minutes R.B Leipzig got a freekick which was hit by Ilkay Gündoğan. In the 13th minute of the match Adrio Adrada shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ian Grande showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Aloisio Munet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mino Domene read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Mino Domene made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Aloisio Munet sent off a good shot on target. After taking down the ball on R.B Leipzig's corner Ilkay Gündoğan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mino Domene quite easily take care of the ball. Alessandro Del Piero hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. R.B Leipzig's Aloisio Munet got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Javier Matos hit a great ball. Lorenzo Ribota struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Mino Domene didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for R.B Leipzig. In the 30th minute Aloisio Munet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mino Domene saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute of the match R.B Leipzig got a corner. JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ilkay Gündoğan ran over to the corner to take the kick. With 33 minutes on the clock, Ilkay Gündoğan commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 32nd minute of the game. One of R.B Leipzig:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC:s goal. Victoro Cangas took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ian Grande. Ian Grande dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's Javier Matos got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After the first half JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 朱挺松 was the one to do the kick off. Lorenzo Ribota fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mino Domene having to interfere. With a little luck, R.B Leipzig's Ian Grande got control of the ball when Osorio Ubago tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 57 played minutes JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC got a freekick which was hit by Javier Matos. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alessandro Del Piero in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ian Grande saved R.B Leipzig from getting behind. After 60 minutes, Alessandro Del Piero made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. R.B Leipzig's Ian Grande tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 72ndth minute Lorenzo Ribota easily got through JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's defense and fired away a shot, but Mino Domene leaped left and performed a fabulous save.
