Frans Escajadillos short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got José Maria Buljubasich to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Bibiano Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Scalise in the 10th minute of the match. 11 minutes in the game, Claudio Scalise dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. José Maria Buljubasich took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frans Escajadillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Atlético Lea Papá's Claudio Scalise got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Claudio Scalise took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bibiano Barbosa. Bibiano Barbosa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. José Maria Buljubasich showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frans Escajadillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After a rather tough play, CON-E-CO's Argider Lizundia got a free kick in the 30th minute. Claudio Scalise recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bibiano Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Scalise, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Lea Papá's zone, Frans Escajadillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Maria Buljubasich came out of the goal and Frans Escajadillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Club Atlético Lea Papá were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gilesindo Tarapiella was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frans Escajadillo in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Maria Buljubasich saved Club Atlético Lea Papá from getting behind. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by CON-E-CO's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Horacio Carbonari was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Atlético Lea Papá's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Horacio Carbonari almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but CON-E-CO's Bibiano Barbosa did a great save. Claudio Scalise might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bibiano Barbosa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Claudio Scalise ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Gilesindo Tarapiella's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but José Maria Buljubasich was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. CON-E-CO's Bibiano Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Arellano in the 87th minute of play. Frans Escajadillo took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Maria Buljubasich. José Maria Buljubasich dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. The supporters of Club Atlético Lea Papá booed when CON-E-CO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Argider Lizundia didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Club Atlético Lea Papá walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
