Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Miguel Volio to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marco Ureña got free with José Maria Buljubasich in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Miguel Tejada hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute, Claudio Scalise got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claudio Scalise in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gabe Conejo saved CS La Libertad from getting behind. Club Atlético Lea Papá's José Maria Buljubasich proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético Lea Papá from getting a goal against them. José Maria Buljubasich showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Carballo in the 68th minute of the match. Gabe Conejo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Scalise, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. CS La Libertad made a substitution. Manrique Cisneros replaced Luis Martinez. Club Atlético Lea Papá's Facundo Mallo was substituted for Wilmer Melgar. The supporters of Club Atlético Lea Papá booed when CS La Libertad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rey Salido didn't get a good kick on the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Lea Papá's Horacio Carbonari broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Through an outstanding action, after 89 minutes, José Maria Buljubasich successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Dênis Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
