After a rather tough play, CD Municipal's Fix Bolonga got a free kick in the 7th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Franco Villalobos during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Franco Villalobos hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 10 minutes into the match, CD Municipal's Arnulfo Camus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cesario Sangra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 15th minute, CD Municipal's Arnulfo Camus ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cesario Sangra. Cesario Sangra yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 21st minute, Ongile Gavilanes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 24 minutes into the match, 25 de Noviembre FBC's goal looked a bit too open when Arnulfo Camus came free, but Cesario Sangra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marko Orellan came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by 25 de Noviembre FBC's Renato Caceres. But to his dismay, Renato Caceres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 29 minutes into the match, 25 de Noviembre FBC's goal looked a bit too open when Ongile Gavilanes came free, but Cesario Sangra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Hustaz Bonal managed to get in a good position for a shot. 25 de Noviembre FBC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hustaz Bonal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marko Orellan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 32nd minute, Aristides Felipez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 39 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for 25 de Noviembre FBC! 3-1 came through a penalty shot after 41 played minutes, when CD Municipal:s Fix Bolonga calmly waited for 25 de Noviembre FBC:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. 44 minutes into the match, Ongile Gavilanes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cesario Sangra. 25 de Noviembre FBC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ongile Gavilanes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Marko Orellan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franco Villalobos, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jeraldo Ascazua to make the kick off. Cesario Sangra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnulfo Camus in the 67th minute of play. Marko Orellan made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Franco Villalobos sent off a good shot on target. Ongile Gavilanes scored 6-2 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cesario Sangra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 25 de Noviembre FBC's Eskuin Monteros was substituted for Aristides Felipez. After some careless play in the 25 de Noviembre FBC defense, Jeraldo Ascazua kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cesario Sangra. The 25 de Noviembre FBC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cesario Sangra should have stopped the shot. Marko Orellan was a little too slow when Eskuin Monteros got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 7-3. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. CD Municipal were victorious despite being under pressure from 25 de Noviembre FBC for much of the match.
