After 2 played minutes Kalatakaya F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Eleuterio Abeitia. Marcelo Robledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Palma in the 4th minute of play. Barça Salvadoreño FC's Manuel Collado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Barça Salvadoreño FC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Haroldo Abenda got free with Manuel Collado in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 14th minute, Angel Talia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manuel Collado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salvadore Abaunza in the 30th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Kalatakaya F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Lionel do Nascimento came free, but Marcelo Robledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Salvadore Abaunza kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Manuel Collado. That made the score 1-0 in the 32 minute of play. Marcelo Robledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lionel do Nascimento in the 36th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Haroldo Abenda got free with Manuel Collado in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 46th match minute, Barça Salvadoreño FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arturo Palma to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olando Abancens made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Kalatakaya F.C.'s goalkeeper Marcelo Robledo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Angel Talia. Diego Bejarano hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. 71 minutes into the match, Kalatakaya F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Lionel do Nascimento came free, but Marcelo Robledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Barça Salvadoreño FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Lionel Cäfärov hit a great ball. Manuel Collado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Mir in the 76th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Kalatakaya F.C.'s Claudio Mir got a free kick in the 78th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Lovo in the 87th minute of play forced Kalatakaya F.C.'s goalkeeper Marcelo Robledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kalatakaya F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Lionel do Nascimento scored to the left of an out of position Marcelo Robledo, making the score, 1-1. Lionel do Nascimento, 96 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
