Erez Marica received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Anastasio Rujula tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erez Marica scored 1-0 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anastasio Rujula, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Oliver Arrelucea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quilino Lombraña, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Universitario's zone, Tavo Arrelucea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anastasio Rujula came out of the goal and Tavo Arrelucea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Universitario getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Cristobal Agranja hit a great ball. In the 13th match minute, Universitario was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quilino Lombraña to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute, Intimos de Reynoso's Tavo Arrelucea dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erez Marica in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anastasio Rujula saved Universitario from getting behind. A hard shot 22 in the game by Erez Marica from a close distance when the talented Anastasio Rujula managed to make a qualified save. Universitario's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Universitario's Restu Pineda got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Tavo Arrelucea who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Anastasio Rujula when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Intimos de Reynoso's Erez Marica slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Anastasio Rujula. That made the score 4-0 after 28 minutes of play. With his leg Anastasio Rujula managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Intimos de Reynoso's Tavo Arrelucea fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erez Marica in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anastasio Rujula saved Universitario from getting behind. Erez Marica's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anastasio Rujula read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Intimos de Reynoso's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gus Arrelucea in the 38th minute. Gus Arrelucea made a great header on Intimos de Reynoso's corner, it was just that Universitario's Anastasio Rujula managed to reach the ball for a save. Tavo Arrelucea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erez Marica in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anastasio Rujula prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tavo Arrelucea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 47 in the game by Erez Marica from a close distance when the talented Anastasio Rujula managed to make a qualified save. Universitario's players were relieved. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

In the 51stth minute of the game Erez Marica who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Universitario's Anastasio Rujula was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 58 played minutes Universitario got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Cueto. Intimos de Reynoso made a substitution. Isaio Cobarrubias replaced Juan Arrelucea. Intimos de Reynoso made a substitution. Belasko Aguiluz replaced Tavo Arrelucea. Intimos de Reynoso made a substitution. Jaen Barrallo replaced Erez Marica. In the 60th minute, Fausto Cueto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anastasio Rujula showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Belasko Aguiluz, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 62 minutes into the game, Intimos de Reynoso's Jaen Barrallo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anastasio Rujula made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. After 68 minutes of play, Intimos de Reynoso's Jaen Barrallo made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anastasio Rujula was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 79thth minute of the game Jaen Barrallo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Universitario's Anastasio Rujula was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 80 minutes had been played when some careless play by Universitario's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gus Arrelucea was slow to take the kick. During this time Intimos de Reynoso's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Intimos de Reynoso's corner Gus Arrelucea fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Anastasio Rujula quite easily take care of the ball. Universitario's Anastasio Rujula played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaen Barrallo in the 81st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaen Barrallo in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anastasio Rujula saved Universitario from getting behind. If Gus Arrelucea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Intimos de Reynoso were the better team. Intimos de Reynoso's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
