The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gus Arrelucea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Cena having to interfere. 5 minutes into the match, AlmaToran's goalkeeper Julio Cena had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gus Arrelucea. Julio Cena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erez Marica in the 7th minute of the match. After 12 minutes, Taio Ponce mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AlmaToran and the Intimos de Reynoso players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 12th match minute, AlmaToran was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Taio Ponce to maneuver through the defense. Gus Arrelucea got in the 13th minute the ball and tried a long shot which scored to the left of Julio Cena and thus it was 1-0. In the 16th minute, Peli Briñas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oliver Arrelucea was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 21 minutes into the match, Intimos de Reynoso's goal looked a bit too open when Peli Briñas came free, but Oliver Arrelucea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Taio Ponce in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oliver Arrelucea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. AlmaToran's Julio Cena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erez Marica in the 36th minute of play. Julio Cena made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Gus Arrelucea sent off a good shot on target. 40 minutes into the game, Erez Marica recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julio Cena. Erez Marica showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erez Marica to make the kick off. In a very dangerous position, a player in AlmaToran fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! In the 54th minute there was a penalty for Intimos de Reynoso. Gus Arrelucea stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Julio Cena. 5-1. Chabier Borroel's late challenge caught a AlmaToran's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chabier Borroel helped the player get up and apologised. After 56 played minutes Intimos de Reynoso got a freekick which was hit by Chabier Borroel. 62 minutes into the match, Intimos de Reynoso's goal looked a bit too open when Genaro Quesada came free, but Oliver Arrelucea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 65 minutes of play, Intimos de Reynoso's Erez Marica made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Cena was left in no man's land by his defense there! Intimos de Reynoso's Isaio Cobarrubias was substituted for Juan Arrelucea. Julio Cena didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Belasko Aguiluz went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. In the 83rd minute Jaen Barrallo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Cena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Intimos de Reynoso booed when AlmaToran was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Venceslas Soler didn't get a good kick on the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Intimos de Reynoso's Gus Arrelucea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Cena narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Oliver Arrelucea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Taio Ponce in the 86th minute. Gus Arrelucea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Cena having to interfere. A collision led to AlmaToran getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Lope Lortia hit a great ball. In the 98th minute of the match Gus Arrelucea sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Cena skillfully saved the ball. Julio Cena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jaen Barrallo's shot from short distance in the 99th minute.
