In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Al-Fajuth's goalkeeper Yuri Quirino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Laurentzi in the 7th minute of play forced Al-Fajuth's goalkeeper Yuri Quirino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yuri Quirino came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Nonatos United's Paulo Laurentzi. But to his dismay, Paulo Laurentzi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A collision led to Al-Fajuth getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Guilherme Vidal hit a great ball. When Ulysses de Senna fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Al-Fajuth's protests and gave Ulysses de Senna a yellow card for diving instead. After 13 played minutes Al-Fajuth got a freekick which was hit by Ulysses de Senna. Yuri Quirino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Laurentzi's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Yuri Quirino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Laurentzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reginaldo Cavalcante's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yuri Quirino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Yuri Quirino came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Nonatos United's Paulo Laurentzi. But to his dismay, Paulo Laurentzi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Yuri Quirino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Laurentzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Yuri Quirino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Laurentzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Nonatos United were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Al-Fajuth made a substitution. Cruz Adolskiy replaced Vítor da Costa. The wind increased when Horácio Gonçalves made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Paulo Laurentzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yuri Quirino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the game, Birk Vestre was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nonatos United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Al-Fajuth the free kick. Paulo Laurentzi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Yuri Quirino made a huge save. Yuri Quirino was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Paulo Laurentzi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 65 minute of play. Yuri Quirino was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Paulo Laurentzi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Paulo Laurentzi really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. In the 72nd minute, Paulo Laurentzi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Yuri Quirino. The goal made the score 0-5. Nonatos United made a substitution. Carlos-Caetano Bledorn Verri replaced Ni Hui Yan. Frank Tasso might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yuri Quirino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Tasso ran back to his position shaking his head. 80 minutes into the match, Al-Fajuth's goalkeeper Yuri Quirino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Tasso. The supporters of Nonatos United booed when Al-Fajuth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timeteo Pinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yuri Quirino was a little too slow when Frank Tasso got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 0-6. 91 minutes into the match, Nonatos United's Frank Tasso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yuri Quirino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Frank Tasso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Yuri Quirino made a huge save. Nonatos United played a much better game than Al-Fajuth and deserved their victory. The Al-Fajuth players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
