The long shot by Ivo Pereira in the 3rd minute really tested Laércio Marques's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 4th match minute, Itaberaba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giovani do Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. After 7 played minutes Guadalupe FC got a freekick which was hit by Raúl Luz. In the 13th minute, Frédson Carvalho fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Rasgun Cool put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Laércio Marques. Laércio Marques stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomás da Costa's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Frédson Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Narciso Baiano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Laércio Marques was a little too slow when Ramón Guerra got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 3-0. Guadalupe FC's Frédson Carvalho got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 36th minute, Ramón Guerra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Ramón Guerra came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Guadalupe FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramón Guerra couldn't finish the play. Laércio Marques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rasgun Cool, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Narciso Baiano was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes, Rasgun Cool made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Itaberaba's Laércio Marques tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 56thth minute of the game Rasgun Cool who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Itaberaba's Laércio Marques was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 57th minute, Narciso Baiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Guadalupe FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Wágner Jacinto hit a great ball. After having played for 68 minutes, Rasgun Cool managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guadalupe FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rasgun Cool was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 72 minutes of play, Guadalupe FC's Tomás da Costa made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Laércio Marques was left in no man's land by his defense there! Laércio Marques stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomás da Costa's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. In the 79th minute, Rasgun Cool got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Itaberaba's Narciso Baiano got a free kick in the 81st minute. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Rasgun Cool put it in 9-0 from a short distance just to the right of Laércio Marques. 89 minutes into the match, Itaberaba's goal looked a bit too open when Rasgun Cool came free, but Laércio Marques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laércio Marques came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Guadalupe FC's Ramón Guerra. But to his dismay, Ramón Guerra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. After some careless play in the Itaberaba defense, Tomás da Costa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Laércio Marques. The Itaberaba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Laércio Marques should have stopped the shot. Guadalupe FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
