Leopoldo Pereira hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. When Ronaldo Ramos fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grêmio's protests and gave Ronaldo Ramos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 57th match minute, Grêmio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldo Ramos to maneuver through the defense. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bebela reached it. Roger Seco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guga Bezerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After 86 played minutes Grêmio got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Arruda. Grêmio's Roger Seco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guga Bezerra in the 90th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Guga Bezerra made a precise shot to the right of Roger Seco. Grêmio's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. When the referee ended the match the Bebela players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
