Laércio Ramalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Juninho Porto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 8th minute of the match, Wellington Rodrigues tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Juninho Porto saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amauri Veiga in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Paraibano saved Jenipapo SC from getting behind. Wellington Rodrigues in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Juninho Porto, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With his leg Juninho Porto managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when Jenipapo SC's Laércio Ramalho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Wellington Rodrigues's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Juninho Porto skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 21st minute Wellington Rodrigues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juninho Porto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wellington Rodrigues had several of the Quiroga F.C.'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 24 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Juninho Porto as he didn't even see the shot coming. The audience thought a goal was coming when Laércio Ramalho got free with Juninho Porto in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 28 minutes into the game, Wellington Rodrigues cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Juninho Porto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marcelinho Gonçalves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Wellington Rodrigues might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juninho Porto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wellington Rodrigues ran back to his position shaking his head. Wellington Rodrigues took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juninho Porto. Juninho Porto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Juninho Porto made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Wellington Rodrigues sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Durval Passos got free with Juninho Porto in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Laércio Ramalho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jenipapo SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Laércio Ramalho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juninho Porto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Juninho Porto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zonta in the 44th minute of play. 46 minutes into the game, Jenipapo SC's Laércio Ramalho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juninho Porto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wellington Rodrigues stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Quiroga F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Wellington Rodrigues came free, but Juninho Porto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute, Durval Passos made a precise shot to the right of Juninho Porto. Quiroga F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. After 59 minutes of play, Jenipapo SC's Carlos Augusto de Sena made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juninho Porto was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Durval Passos in the 64th minute of play forced Quiroga F.C.'s goalkeeper Juninho Porto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juninho Porto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wellington Rodrigues in the 66th minute of play. 68 minutes into the game, Jenipapo SC's Wellington Rodrigues nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juninho Porto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Juninho Porto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Laércio Ramalho went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Marcelinho Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juninho Porto having to interfere. If Zé Augusto Custódio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laércio Ramalho took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juninho Porto. Juninho Porto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. Wellington Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 93 played minutes Jenipapo SC got a freekick which was hit by Eurico de Sousa.
