In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind The Best Ones's goalkeeper Juarês Fantini, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 10th minute of the match AS Pikachuzim got a corner. The Best Ones's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wilton Carneiro ran over to the corner to take the kick. Pedro Luiz Matorin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristóvão de Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Percy Cearense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 18th match minute, The Best Ones was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sílvio Luiz Koehler to maneuver through the defense. Noel Berger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Juarês Fantini made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Percy Cearense in the 21st minute of play forced The Best Ones's goalkeeper Juarês Fantini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Moisés Mendonça kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd match minute, AS Pikachuzim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noel Berger to maneuver through the defense. After 25 minutes, Rodrigo do Valle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Best Ones and the AS Pikachuzim players grew even worse after the yellow card. A hard shot by Wilton Carneiro from long distance, 26 minutes into the match, got Juarês Fantini's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 34 minutes of play, The Best Ones's Washington Coelho made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Luiz Matorin was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 37th match minute, The Best Ones was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo Sarmento to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute, Percy Cearense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Noel Berger got free with Juarês Fantini in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristóvão de Sousa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 58 played minutes The Best Ones got a freekick which was hit by Washington Coelho. A collision led to The Best Ones getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Washington Coelho hit a great ball. Denílson Arantes kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Pedro Luiz Matorin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnaldo Sarmento in the 63rd minute. 64 minutes into the match, AS Pikachuzim's goal looked a bit too open when Luisinho Veiga came free, but Pedro Luiz Matorin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristóvão de Sousa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pedro Luiz Matorin. That made the score 0-2 in the 69 minute of play. AS Pikachuzim's Pedro Luiz Matorin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristóvão de Sousa in the 72nd minute of play. Pedro Luiz Matorin came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by The Best Ones's Cristóvão de Sousa. But to his dismay, Cristóvão de Sousa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 81 minutes into the game, Aílton Carneiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AS Pikachuzim's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Best Ones the free kick. The supporters of The Best Ones booed when AS Pikachuzim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aílton Carneiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the game, one of AS Pikachuzim:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. AS Pikachuzim:s Pedro Luiz Matorin showed great skill when he stopped Cristóvão de Sousa:s penalty. Tiago Pitta made a great header on The Best Ones's corner, it was just that AS Pikachuzim's Pedro Luiz Matorin managed to reach the ball for a save. Pedro Luiz Matorin made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Arnaldo Sarmento sent off a good shot on target. Richard Madureira kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. In the 96th minute of the match Tiago Pitta shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Luiz Matorin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The Best Ones played a much better game than AS Pikachuzim and deserved their victory. The AS Pikachuzim players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
