Spectators: 145 (Terracing: 110, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) 3 minutes into the game, Maicon Aguiar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Xanda FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Internacional the free kick. After 3 played minutes Xanda FC got a freekick which was hit by Maicon Aguiar. Internacional's Bruno Lanckneus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso de Toledo in the 8th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Diogo da Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 13 played minutes Internacional got a freekick which was hit by Serafim Fontes. Enio Marinho scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ramiro Pires, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 20th minute, Osmar Branco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ramiro Pires was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Xanda FC's goalkeeper Ramiro Pires, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Osmar Branco took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ramiro Pires. Ramiro Pires dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Ramiro Pires made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nando de Alcântara in the 28th minute of play. Ramiro Pires made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osmar Branco in the 29th minute of play. Ramiro Pires came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Internacional's Enio Marinho. But to his dismay, Enio Marinho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Xanda FC's Ramiro Pires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enio Marinho in the 34th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Michel Faria put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Ramiro Pires. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Afonso de Toledo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Michel Faria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Ramiro Pires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Michel Faria who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Ramiro Pires when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Enio Marinho might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ramiro Pires. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Enio Marinho ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 67th minute of the game Umberto Martins made a throw-in which Aírton de Amaral played forward. Bruno Lanckneus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renan Paes in the 72nd minute of the match. When Genílson Pontes fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Xanda FC's protests and gave Genílson Pontes a yellow card for diving instead. The goalkeeper, Ramiro Pires, was totally fooled by Internacional's Enio Marinho, who 75 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 78th minute, Michel Faria ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ramiro Pires was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7. When Internacional's Michel Faria in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Xanda FC's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Michel Faria put it in 1-8 from a short distance just to the right of Ramiro Pires. The crowd rose to their feet as Internacional's Enio Marinho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ramiro Pires. That made the score 1-9 after 89 minutes of play. 93 minutes into the match, Afonso de Toledo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bruno Lanckneus. Internacional's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Afonso de Toledo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-9. Michel Faria struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Ramiro Pires didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Internacional. In the 98th minute, Diogo da Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
