But to his dismay, Felippe Vale quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A collision led to MengãOShowS - FDFDF getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Murillo Alagoano hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Nuno Moreno kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Carlos Eduardo Mello. That made the score 1-1 in the 11 minute of play. After 16 minutes, Rubens Viana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ® and the MengãOShowS - FDFDF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rubens Viana hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. When Cesinha Araújo fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MengãOShowS - FDFDF's protests and gave Cesinha Araújo a yellow card for diving instead. After 19 played minutes MengãOShowS - FDFDF got a freekick which was hit by Cesinha Araújo. Gernando dos Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Eduardo Mello having to interfere. If Wilton Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gernando dos Santos charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gernando dos Santos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 31st minute, Gernando dos Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s Rubinho Guerra got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Carlos Eduardo Mello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gernando dos Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Lauro Gerber's late challenge caught a MengãOShowS - FDFDF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lauro Gerber helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th minute, Lauro Gerber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Kaká Fenomeno managed to get in a good position for a shot. MengãOShowS - FDFDF's supporters rose to their feet, but Kaká Fenomeno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Maria Ramos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rubens Viana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Carlos Eduardo Mello made a huge save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The supporters of Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ® booed when MengãOShowS - FDFDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felippe Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. Murillo Alagoano charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Murillo Alagoano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s Hermínio Rosa was substituted for Nelson Sá. In the 61st minute, Murillo Alagoano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Eduardo Mello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafa Coutinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 69th minute Kaká Fenomeno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Maria Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Eduardo Mello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rubinho Guerra in the 72nd minute of the match. José Maria Ramos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaká Fenomeno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rubens Viana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luiz Paulo Montenegro's late challenge caught a MengãOShowS - FDFDF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luiz Paulo Montenegro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 85th minute, Kaká Fenomeno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rubens Viana hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilton Aguiar in the 93rd minute of play forced Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s goalkeeper José Maria Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 95 minutes Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luisão Cunha who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s goalie and right to Wilton Aguiar. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
