Amerigo Firmani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Dave Bassani made a huge save. ASD Real Molinella 1911 were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after Aversa's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bai Lang Chao took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Bai Lang Chao got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dave Bassani quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 9 minutes into the match, Aversa's goalkeeper Dave Bassani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tsinamdzghvrishvili Højlund. Tsinamdzghvrishvili Højlund's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dave Bassani read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tsinamdzghvrishvili Højlund in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dave Bassani saved Aversa from getting behind. ASD Real Molinella 1911 were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Aversa's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bai Lang Chao took the corner. Amerigo Firmani came free with the goalkeeper in the 27th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dave Bassani could save by the left post. After 29 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Aversa! Dave Bassani had in the 31stth minute some difficulties stopping Tsinamdzghvrishvili Højlund's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 34 minutes into the game, Tsinamdzghvrishvili Højlund recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dave Bassani. Tsinamdzghvrishvili Højlund showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. ASD Real Molinella 1911 were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after Aversa's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bai Lang Chao took the corner. A collision led to Aversa getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Ciro Buccella hit a great ball. Tsinamdzghvrishvili Højlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Dave Bassani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ciro Buccella made a kick off. The ASD Real Molinella 1911 fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when ASD Real Molinella 1911's Tsinamdzghvrishvili Højlund looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Dave Bassani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amerigo Firmani in the 62nd minute of play. In the 63rd minute Tsinamdzghvrishvili Højlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dave Bassani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomé Montenegro made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Diego Salvagnin sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tsinamdzghvrishvili Højlund in the 69th minute of play forced Aversa's goalkeeper Dave Bassani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomé Montenegro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diego Salvagnin in the 70th minute. ASD Real Molinella 1911's Sandro Coisne was substituted for Elia Santangelo. 75 minutes into the match, Renato Chaves notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Aversa's Dave Bassani. Dave Bassani was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renato Chaves in the 87th minute of play forced Aversa's goalkeeper Dave Bassani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute Renato Chaves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dave Bassani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amerigo Firmani in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dave Bassani prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Renato Chaves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Renato Chaves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dave Bassani having to make a save. Aversa's Dave Bassani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renato Chaves in the 95th minute of play. ASD Real Molinella 1911's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
