Anfilogino Di Persio hit a great ball. In the 3rd minute, one of Longobarda:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Longobarda. After 5 minutes of play, Borgo Doria F.C.'s Bernardo Pennetta made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bernardo Lampa was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Bernardo Pennetta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernardo Lampa was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. In the 13th minute, Bernardo Pennetta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Borgo Doria F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Borgo Doria F.C.'s Bernardo Pennetta got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 23 minutes into the match, Longobarda's Fabiano Canzano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christian Trombetta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 26 played minutes Borgo Doria F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Giacomo Renzi. The supporters of Longobarda booed when Borgo Doria F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniele Di Gregorio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute of the match, Fabiano Canzano tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Christian Trombetta saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Daniele Di Gregorio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Bernardo Lampa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beppe Rosa charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Beppe Rosa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Longobarda's Beppe Rosa got a free kick in the 37th minute. Daniele Di Gregorio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 41 minutes into the match, Borgo Doria F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Anfilogino Di Persio came free, but Christian Trombetta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Fabiano Canzano fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Longobarda's protests and gave Fabiano Canzano a yellow card for diving instead. In the 44th match minute, Longobarda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabiano Canzano to maneuver through the defense. Daniele Di Gregorio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Borgo Doria F.C. were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bernardo Pennetta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes Longobarda got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Orrore. Bernardo Pennetta took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernardo Lampa. Bernardo Lampa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Bernardo Pennetta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Lampa having to interfere. After some careless play in the Longobarda defense, Daniele Di Gregorio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernardo Lampa. The Longobarda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernardo Lampa should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Longobarda booed when Borgo Doria F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giacomo Renzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniele Di Gregorio during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Borgo Doria F.C. getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Daniele Di Gregorio hit a great ball. Fortunato Vanni scored 1-4 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christian Trombetta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Longobarda's Bernardo Lampa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Pennetta in the 74th minute of play. Bernardo Lampa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniele Di Gregorio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Longobarda getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Anfilogino Di Persio hit a great ball. Bernardo Pennetta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fortunato Vanni's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christian Trombetta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Christian Trombetta came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Longobarda's Fortunato Vanni. But to his dismay, Fortunato Vanni quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernardo Pennetta got free with Bernardo Lampa in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fortunato Vanni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Trombetta having to interfere. Bernardo Lampa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniele Di Gregorio went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-5 was the resulting score. Borgo Doria F.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
