The supporters of Hyblae FC booed when Carloforte f.c. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Antonelli in the 30th minute of play forced Hyblae FC's goalkeeper Mateusz Dembkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute of the match, Bernardo Suriani tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Waclaw Zajonc saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 46th match minute, Hyblae FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Achille Apolloni to maneuver through the defense. Mateusz Dembkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alessandro Iacovella in the 48th minute of the match. After the first half Carloforte f.c. were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Carloforte f.c. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
