Manuel Nobal took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Santino Mora. Santino Mora dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Club Deportivo Santiago's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Inter de Guayaquil FC had won, even though Club Deportivo Santiago had held more of the ball.
