The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gerardo Oliba got a throw-in 3 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Rubén Caseda. In the 15thth minute of the game Rey Benagassi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PAJARRACO FC's Lavallén Roces was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Gerardo Oliba in the 20th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Inter de Guayaquil FC's Arturo Toraño. Lavallén Roces made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Nobal in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zunbeltz Inchaurdi in the 30th minute of play forced PAJARRACO FC's goalkeeper Lavallén Roces to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes in the game Mario Quetara did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Oscar Silguero. Inter de Guayaquil FC's Samuel Lux played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Regueira in the 32nd minute of play. Inter de Guayaquil FC's Zunbeltz Inchaurdi was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 40th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Manuel Nobal to make the kick off. A collision led to PAJARRACO FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Rubén Caseda hit a great ball. PAJARRACO FC's Lavallén Roces played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Nobal in the 61st minute of play. Lavallén Roces made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rey Benagassi in the 65th minute of play. Jácome Panadero's late challenge caught a PAJARRACO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jácome Panadero helped the player get up and apologised. Jácome Panadero kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Lavallén Roces didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manuel Nobal went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Inter de Guayaquil FC's Arturo Toraño got a free kick in the 74th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zunbeltz Inchaurdi in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lavallén Roces saved PAJARRACO FC from getting behind. PAJARRACO FC's Lavallén Roces played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Nobal in the 77th minute of play. Zunbeltz Inchaurdi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mario Quetara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Samuel Lux tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, PAJARRACO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zunbeltz Inchaurdi came free, but Lavallén Roces reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dennis Ocaña kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Inter de Guayaquil FC's Manuel Nobal tried to score from far away in the 88th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Zunbeltz Inchaurdi struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Lavallén Roces didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inter de Guayaquil FC. Lavallén Roces took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zunbeltz Inchaurdi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Inter de Guayaquil FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
