After 2 played minutes Nibiru X got a freekick which was hit by David Comas. In the 3rd minute of the match Rolando Solares sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Przemyslaw Damazki skillfully saved the ball. Ilkka Markkula made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Faustão Pernambucano sent off a good shot on target. Valerio Font made in the 9th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Torsten Albom. Przemyslaw Damazki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Tupper in the 10th minute of play. Raimundo Tupper recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Przemyslaw Damazki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Tupper, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the match, Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Raimundo Tupper sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Przemyslaw Damazki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ilkka Markkula made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Faustão Pernambucano sent off a good shot on target. Ilkka Markkula took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fazlı Sarıaslan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ilkka Markkula showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustão Pernambucano in the 29th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Nibiru X's Hernán Advis got a free kick in the 31st minute. Jacinto Gebhard struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Przemyslaw Damazki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Deportes Santa Cruz. The audience was convinced that Raimundo Tupper's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Przemyslaw Damazki was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Nibiru X's Przemyslaw Damazki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Tupper in the 40th minute of play. 44 minutes into the game, Juan Estevan Hamdorf threw the ball into play from the sideline. Nibiru X's Rodrigo Ubiergo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Yan Zhi Chuan was substituted for Raimundo Tupper. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Faustão Pernambucano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Nibiru X's Przemyslaw Damazki got control of the ball when Yan Zhi Chuan tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustão Pernambucano in the 54th minute of play forced Club Deportes Santa Cruz's goalkeeper Ilkka Markkula to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Nibiru X's zone, Yan Zhi Chuan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Przemyslaw Damazki came out of the goal and Yan Zhi Chuan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jacinto Gebhard's late challenge caught a Nibiru X's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jacinto Gebhard helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Jacinto Gebhard got a free kick in the 62nd minute. 63 minutes into the match, Club Deportes Santa Cruz's goal looked a bit too open when Faustão Pernambucano came free, but Ilkka Markkula reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Faustão Pernambucano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ilkka Markkula. Club Deportes Santa Cruz's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Faustão Pernambucano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 71st minute, Yan Zhi Chuan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Przemyslaw Damazki was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 74 minutes into the game, Rodrigo Ubiergo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nibiru X's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Deportes Santa Cruz the free kick. A collision led to Nibiru X getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Rodrigo Ubiergo hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Juan Estevan Hamdorf got a free kick in the 76th minute. Przemyslaw Damazki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yan Zhi Chuan, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. A collision led to Club Deportes Santa Cruz getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Juan Estevan Hamdorf hit a great ball. After 87 minutes of play, Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Yan Zhi Chuan made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Przemyslaw Damazki was left in no man's land by his defense there! 92 minutes into the game, Juan Estevan Hamdorf threw the ball into play from the sideline. Nibiru X's Rodrigo Ubiergo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Yan Zhi Chuan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Przemyslaw Damazki made a huge save. When the final whistle sounded Club Deportes Santa Cruz left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Nibiru X.
