In the 5thth minute of the game Pedro Mansilha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Deportes La Serena's Aníbal Albarran was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Barrabases de Victoria's Ignacio Mahuzier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Barrabases de Victoria from getting a goal against them. In the 8th minute Ondino Casanova shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacio Mahuzier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aníbal Albarran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Mansilha, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Barrabases de Victoria's goalkeeper Ignacio Mahuzier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgardo Garzo. In the 12thth minute of the game Pedro Mansilha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Deportes La Serena's Aníbal Albarran was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Edgardo Garzo notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Barrabases de Victoria's Ignacio Mahuzier. Ignacio Mahuzier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Barrabases de Victoria's Ignacio Mahuzier got control of the ball when Ondino Casanova tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Luis Angel Budinich fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Deportes La Serena's protests and gave Luis Angel Budinich a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Barrabases de Victoria booed when Club Deportes La Serena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Angel Budinich didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Mansilha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aníbal Albarran read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute of the match Barrabases de Victoria got a corner. Club Deportes La Serena's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. 俞坤飞 ran over to the corner to take the kick. Barrabases de Victoria's 俞坤飞 was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Aníbal Albarran in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Club Deportes La Serena were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Barrabases de Victoria's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ondino Casanova took the corner. When Barrabases de Victoria's Emerson Sheikh in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Deportes La Serena's goalie prevented a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Edgardo Garzo made the kick off in the second half. Ignacio Mahuzier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ondino Casanova in the 51st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Barrabases de Victoria's Pedro Mansilha slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aníbal Albarran. That made the score 2-1 after 52 minutes of play. Aníbal Albarran was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pedro Mansilha showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 62 minute of play. Barrabases de Victoria made a substitution. Vincente Rendic replaced Clemencín Zamorano. Pedro Mansilha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Aníbal Albarran made a huge save. After having played for 78 minutes, Vincente Rendic managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barrabases de Victoria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vincente Rendic was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Barrabases de Victoria made a substitution. Ariano Mannhardt replaced Emerson Sheikh. After a rather tough play, Club Deportes La Serena's Victorino Cifuentes got a free kick in the 80th minute. Omar Elkins's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Aníbal Albarran firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a little luck, Club Deportes La Serena's Aníbal Albarran got control of the ball when Omar Elkins tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 85 minutes Club Deportes La Serena's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was 俞坤飞 who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Barrabases de Victoria's 俞坤飞 to fire away a dangerous shot which Aníbal Albarran despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some careless play in the Barrabases de Victoria defense, Isaiás Bourchier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ignacio Mahuzier. The Barrabases de Victoria fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ignacio Mahuzier should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Club Deportes La Serena had won after a very even match.
