Odón Botero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ivo Cerezo in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Alberto Villa saved Talcampeón FC from getting behind. Aurelio Paredes scored 2-0 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Odón Botero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aurelio Paredes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Odón Botero came out and tried to block the shot, but Aurelio Paredes slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 14th minute. Odón Botero was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Aurelio Paredes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aurelio Paredes really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victor Hugo Painevilu in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Odón Botero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 22nd match minute, Talcampeón FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tito Waiben to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, CF Eleven Lions 2007's Kenji Kajø got a free kick in the 24th minute. After 27 minutes of play, Talcampeón FC's Victor Hugo Painevilu made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Odón Botero was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivo Cerezo in the 32nd minute of play forced Talcampeón FC's goalkeeper Carlos Alberto Villa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Franco Cannavaro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CF Eleven Lions 2007's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Talcampeón FC the free kick. Aurelio Paredes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Odón Botero made a huge save. In the 35th match minute, CF Eleven Lions 2007 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivo Cerezo to maneuver through the defense. Odón Botero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Hugo Painevilu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to CF Eleven Lions 2007 getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Gaston Cabrito hit a great ball. Victor Hugo Painevilu struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Odón Botero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Talcampeón FC. In the 44th play minute Rainerio Huidobro came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Odón Botero. 6-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Odón Botero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelio Paredes, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After 58 minutes, Victor Hugo Painevilu made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. CF Eleven Lions 2007's Odón Botero tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 63 minutes into the game, Talcampeón FC's Rainerio Huidobro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Odón Botero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. With a little luck, Talcampeón FC's Carlos Alberto Villa got control of the ball when Kris Palmann tried to sneak it across the goal line. 69 minutes into the game, Victor Hugo Painevilu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Odón Botero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kris Palmann kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. When Talcampeón FC's Victor Hugo Painevilu in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 85th minute Victor Hugo Painevilu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Odón Botero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Talcampeón FC fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when Talcampeón FC's Aurelio Paredes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 11-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Odón Botero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yeray Necochea went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 12-0 was the resulting score. Odón Botero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yeray Necochea in the 95th minute of the match.
