Samuel Benavente didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jeremías Abrego went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 35th match minute, SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremías Abrego to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vicente kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. When Tamariz Figueroa fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Assueko F.C.'s protests and gave Tamariz Figueroa a yellow card for diving instead. If Jeremías Abrego had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmundo Pastene stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Severo Byers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maxi López in the 52nd minute of play. Jeremías Abrego fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Benavente having to interfere. If Manuel Montt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tamariz Figueroa made in the 61st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT's Manuel Montt. Samuel Benavente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Montt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT's Julio Vicente got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 72nd match minute, SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremías Abrego to maneuver through the defense. 75 minutes into the match, Assueko F.C.'s Maxi López sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Severo Byers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Pastene in the 89th minute of play forced SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT's goalkeeper Severo Byers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT's Severo Byers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT from getting a goal against them. SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
