Hugo Araya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Hugo Araya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jose Manuel Guilisasti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jude Cruz in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hugo Araya saved Zorros del Desierto from getting behind. After 24 minutes, Jude Cruz made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Zorros del Desierto's Hugo Araya tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Concetto Mare sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st minute, CRUZ DEL SUR's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jon-Ander Wallffiguer fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 75 minutes CRUZ DEL SUR's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rolando Melgarejo who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Zorros del Desierto's Rolando Melgarejo to fire away a dangerous shot which Amato Heyboer despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 90 played minutes Zorros del Desierto got a freekick which was hit by Feliciano Schlubach. 92 minutes into the match, Zorros del Desierto's goalkeeper Hugo Araya had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jude Cruz. Amato Heyboer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Concetto Mare, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 95th match minute, CRUZ DEL SUR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean Cruz to maneuver through the defense. CRUZ DEL SUR played a much better game than Zorros del Desierto and deserved their victory. The Zorros del Desierto players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
