Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Caetano Paza in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ekain Piñeiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. I.A.S.A's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Patricio Milla in the 10th minute. After 11 played minutes I.A.S.A got a freekick which was hit by Blasco Cerio. 13 minutes into the match, Montevideo City Torque's goalkeeper Ekain Piñeiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexandro Mansilla. Ekain Piñeiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Caetano Paza went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Montevideo City Torque's Ekain Piñeiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Montevideo City Torque from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Blasco Cerio managed to get in a good position for a shot. I.A.S.A's supporters rose to their feet, but Blasco Cerio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ekain Piñeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Urko Merida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolando Rolon in the 26th minute of the match. When Montevideo City Torque's Rolando Rolon in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye I.A.S.A's goalie prevented a goal. Urko Merida stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rolando Rolon's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. With a little luck, Montevideo City Torque's Ekain Piñeiro got control of the ball when Caetano Paza tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 39 minutes, Jerrold Arancibia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. I.A.S.A's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jerrold Arancibia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Montevideo City Torque getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Betadur Medel hit a great ball. Montevideo City Torque's Ekain Piñeiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Montevideo City Torque from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Montevideo City Torque booed when I.A.S.A was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xavierlada Aizaran didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute of the match Rolando Rolon shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Urko Merida showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rolando Rolon made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerrold Arancibia in the 51st minute of play forced Montevideo City Torque's goalkeeper Ekain Piñeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rd minute, Bizi Saludes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 53 minutes into the game, Blasco Cerio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. I.A.S.A's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Montevideo City Torque the free kick. Blasco Cerio kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Rolando Rolon received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Urko Merida came out and tried to block the shot, but Rolando Rolon slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 55th minute. Cordearo Bertiz kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Patricio Milla took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ekain Piñeiro. Montevideo City Torque's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ekain Piñeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caetano Paza, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After 68 minutes I.A.S.A's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rolando Rolon who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caetano Paza in the 71st minute of play forced Montevideo City Torque's goalkeeper Ekain Piñeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the game, Severino Alacan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Montevideo City Torque's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave I.A.S.A the free kick. In the 78th minute Caetano Paza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ekain Piñeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Montevideo City Torque's Ekain Piñeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caetano Paza in the 80th minute of play. After 82 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for I.A.S.A! Urko Merida had in the 86thth minute some difficulties stopping Rolando Rolon's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Rolando Rolon did an outstanding performance 86 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 1-2 to the right of an irritated Urko Merida in the goal. Ekain Piñeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerrold Arancibia in the 94th minute of play. In the 95th minute, Caetano Paza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Montevideo City Torque walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
