Kılıçhan Mertkal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tacettin Revha's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. After having played for 4 minutes, Teoman Arkan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teoman Arkan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 6th minute, Abidin Saygılı hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Kandemir Özdilek hit a great ball. Teoman Arkan hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the match, AYAZAĞA FK's goal looked a bit too open when Mustafa Ekrem Ilgın came free, but Kılıçhan Mertkal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR's Zikri Mahsun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kemalettin Serol in the 23rd minute of play. When Tolgahan Ulaç fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AYAZAĞA FK's protests and gave Tolgahan Ulaç a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28th minute, Abidin Saygılı hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zikri Mahsun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İsa Günyol, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute, Tacettin Revha reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kılıçhan Mertkal. The goal made the score 1-0. After 36 played minutes AYAZAĞA FK got a freekick which was hit by Kemalettin Serol. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Tacettin Revha managed to get in a good position for a shot. GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR's supporters rose to their feet, but Tacettin Revha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kılıçhan Mertkal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of AYAZAĞA FK booed when GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ibrahim Kutluay didn't get a good kick on the ball. 40 minutes into the match, GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR's goal looked a bit too open when Tolgahan Ulaç came free, but Zikri Mahsun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AYAZAĞA FK's Tolgahan Ulaç got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kemalettin Serol made a kick off. In the 55th match minute, GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kandemir Özdilek to maneuver through the defense. 56 minutes into the match, GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR's goalkeeper Zikri Mahsun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tolgahan Ulaç. Oğuzalp Lütfi hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute, Ali Erdem Yalınç got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to AYAZAĞA FK getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Şadi Okman hit a great ball. The corner led GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR's Fadıl Reis to fire away a dangerous shot which Kılıçhan Mertkal despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Şadi Okman took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zikri Mahsun. Zikri Mahsun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Tacettin Revha hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute of the match Tolgahan Ulaç shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zikri Mahsun showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Abdi Mehmet Ongel's late challenge caught a GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abdi Mehmet Ongel helped the player get up and apologised. Ali Erdem Yalınç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kılıçhan Mertkal having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by İsa Günyol in the 87th minute of play forced GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR's goalkeeper Zikri Mahsun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The long shot by Abidin Saygılı in the 91st minute really tested Zikri Mahsun's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 93 played minutes GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR got a freekick which was hit by Tacettin Revha. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
