Şahin Egelioğlu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Şahin Egelioğlu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Adriano Lancia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 23 minute of play. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Denizli United! The referee gave ÇORUM FK a penalty, 28 minutes into the game. The wind increased when Ali Nabi Hürsel made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Denizli United getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Ercüment Ongun hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fikri Sakman got free with Ahmet Refik Mengüç in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Şahin Egelioğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siro Ayala in the 58th minute of play. When Ömer Rıza came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Denizli United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ömer Rıza couldn't finish the play. Siro Ayala's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Şahin Egelioğlu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play.
