The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4thth minute of the game Barbaros Hatipoğlu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fort Comme Un Turc's Battal Seyyit Tunçhan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Fort Comme Un Turc getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Hektor Dino hit a great ball. When Indiana University's Barbaros Hatipoğlu in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fort Comme Un Turc's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Barbaros Hatipoğlu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Battal Seyyit Tunçhan was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. If Dursun Ali Serdaroğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Barbaros Hatipoğlu took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Battal Seyyit Tunçhan to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hektor Dino in the 25th minute of play forced Indiana University's goalkeeper Barışcan İnegöllü to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dursun Ali Serdaroğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an all-out effort, Indiana University's Battal Seyyit Tunçhan threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Barbaros Hatipoğlu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 30 minutes into the match, Barbaros Hatipoğlu notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Fort Comme Un Turc's Battal Seyyit Tunçhan. Battal Seyyit Tunçhan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hakkı Onur Sarim kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Barbaros Hatipoğlu in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Battal Seyyit Tunçhan saved Fort Comme Un Turc from getting behind. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hektor Dino made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Güneş Polatkan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Battal Seyyit Tunçhan was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 59th minute Güneş Polatkan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Battal Seyyit Tunçhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Güneş Polatkan hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. 62 minutes into the match, Hektor Dino dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Barışcan İnegöllü, 3-2. 66 minutes into the match, Fort Comme Un Turc's goal looked a bit too open when Güneş Polatkan came free, but Battal Seyyit Tunçhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Behiç Yükselir's late challenge caught a Indiana University's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Behiç Yükselir helped the player get up and apologised. Barbaros Hatipoğlu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Battal Seyyit Tunçhan having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Güneş Polatkan during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 80 played minutes Fort Comme Un Turc got a freekick which was hit by Seyhan Babayiğit. Altan Özarı charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Altan Özarı the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Fort Comme Un Turc getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Altan Özarı hit a great ball. After 85 minutes, Barbaros Hatipoğlu made it 4-2 with a short kick to the right side. Fort Comme Un Turc's Battal Seyyit Tunçhan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Fort Comme Un Turc booed when Indiana University was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Güneş Polatkan didn't get a good kick on the ball.
