The tension between the The Wheeliebins and the Gone With the Win players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rick Hamer hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Victor Robson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Malcolm Hopton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victor Robson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Malcolm Hopton having to interfere. With a little luck, The Wheeliebins's Kristopher Connett got control of the ball when Paul Rogozinskiy tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kristopher Connett was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Stuart Brayson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 35 minute of play. Kristopher Connett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stuart Brayson, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Kristopher Connett didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 40th minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. The Wheeliebins's Kristopher Connett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stuart Brayson in the 45th minute of play.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stuart Brayson made a kick off. The referee ignored The Wheeliebins's protests and gave Reuben Gallagher a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Gone With the Win booed when The Wheeliebins was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sean Weatherhead didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Phillip Fry in the 65th minute of play forced Gone With the Win's goalkeeper Malcolm Hopton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Stuart Brayson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kristopher Connett. The Wheeliebins's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stuart Brayson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1.
