Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Stuart Ward took the kick off in the first half of the match. Bradley Smart showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stuart Ward, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After 21 played minutes Baby Snakes got a freekick which was hit by Brynn Walsh. 22 minutes into the match, Baby Snakes's goal looked a bit too open when Dion Cooper came free, but Nick Cavanagh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th match minute, Hilsea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dion Cooper to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Baby Snakes's zone, Wally Batty stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nick Cavanagh came out of the goal and Wally Batty tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joey Sharples's late challenge caught a Baby Snakes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joey Sharples helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rdth minute of the game Ashley Titmus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Baby Snakes's Nick Cavanagh was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Brynn Walsh kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ashley Titmus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Terence McKenna fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Baby Snakes's protests and gave Terence McKenna a yellow card for diving instead. In the 53rd minute, Terence McKenna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Stuart Ward took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Bradley Smart to make any attempt to save it. Bradley Smart stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stuart Ward's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wally Batty during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Hilsea getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Wally Batty hit a great ball. The throw-in from Ronan King in the 81st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Baby Snakes's Ted Meadowcroft. Ted Meadowcroft was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 81st minute. Baby Snakes's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Brynn Walsh kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the game, Giles Morse was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Baby Snakes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hilsea the free kick. Giles Morse hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Brynn Walsh hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Ashley Titmus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nick Cavanagh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wally Batty in the 96th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Hilsea lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
