Petr Táborský's late challenge caught a Moneyball's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Petr Táborský helped the player get up and apologised. Petr Táborský hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Václav Abrahám in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zdeněk Kroščen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 17 minutes, Václav Abrahám mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Moneyball and the FK Řitka players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 17th minute, Václav Abrahám hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zdeněk Kroščen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alojz Remeš in the 27th minute. After a defensive mix-up in FK Řitka's zone, Karel Lev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zdeněk Kroščen came out of the goal and Karel Lev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 32nd match minute, FK Řitka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michail Korčák to maneuver through the defense. Alfons Kuhn kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. When Karel Bílý fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FK Řitka's protests and gave Karel Bílý a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, FK Řitka's Karel Bílý got a free kick in the 44th minute. Miroslav Kubálek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milan Brodský in the 46th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Milan Brodský to make the kick off. FK Řitka's Ignác Cienciala got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Moneyball's Miroslav Kubálek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Moneyball from getting a goal against them. If Karel Lev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 74 played minutes Moneyball got a freekick which was hit by Václav Abrahám. 76 minutes into the game, Alojz Remeš was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Moneyball's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FK Řitka the free kick. In the 78th minute, Ignác Cienciala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Alojz Remeš managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moneyball's supporters rose to their feet, but Alojz Remeš was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zdeněk Kroščen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Columbo Columbo hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. 92 minutes into the match, Václav Abrahám notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of FK Řitka's Zdeněk Kroščen. Zdeněk Kroščen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
