Codrin Aalexoaiei hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. 14 minutes into the match, Carpathian Wolves's goal looked a bit too open when Irinel Elefteriu came free, but Nichifor Ogică reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornel Angheluș in the 24th minute of play forced Carpathian Wolves's goalkeeper Nichifor Ogică to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute Irinel Elefteriu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nichifor Ogică saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Cornel Angheluș fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FORTUNA ARTEMIS BRASOV's protests and gave Cornel Angheluș a yellow card for diving instead. In the 29thth minute of the game Irinel Elefteriu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carpathian Wolves's Nichifor Ogică was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nichifor Ogică made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Irinel Elefteriu in the 32nd minute of play. In the 35th minute, Irinel Elefteriu made a precise shot to the right of Nichifor Ogică. Carpathian Wolves's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. A collision led to Carpathian Wolves getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Nichifor Velicu hit a great ball. Carpathian Wolves's Nichifor Ogică played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Irinel Elefteriu in the 40th minute of play. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by Carpathian Wolves's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Emil Vlaicu was slow to take the kick. During this time FORTUNA ARTEMIS BRASOV's players had a chance to rest. Cornel Angheluș blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nichifor Ogică having to make a save. The Carpathian Wolves players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FORTUNA ARTEMIS BRASOV were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Niculae Arbore to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, FORTUNA ARTEMIS BRASOV's Irinel Elefteriu got a free kick in the 60th minute. Nichifor Ogică made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Irinel Elefteriu in the 62nd minute of play. Nichifor Ogică showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Irinel Elefteriu, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Nichifor Ogică took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Irinel Elefteriu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emanuel Chirtoacă's late challenge caught a Carpathian Wolves's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nichifor Ogică made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Cornel Angheluș sent off a good shot on target. 83 minutes into the game, FORTUNA ARTEMIS BRASOV's Irinel Elefteriu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nichifor Ogică made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After 89 played minutes FORTUNA ARTEMIS BRASOV got a freekick which was hit by Irinel Elefteriu. The Carpathian Wolves fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FORTUNA ARTEMIS BRASOV were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
