Progresul Pitesti's Emil Şandru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ştefan Mihoc in the 47th minute of play. In the 48th minute, Chevaliers FC's Iustin Vlădoiu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Emil Şandru. Emil Şandru yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ştefan Mihoc made a kick off. If Iustin Vlădoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Chevaliers FC had played much better football throughout.
