Anton Negru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Alin Holban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Purcaresti CSS booed when Balaceanu UFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basarab Lera didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 18 minutes of play, Purcaresti CSS's Octav Tomoioagă made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vlad Popete was left in no man's land by his defense there! Manuel Pășcuțoiu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Alin Holban when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Anton Negru's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 29thth minute, Alin Holban skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Robert Stafie kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Anton Negru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alin Holban made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manuel Pășcuțoiu in the 36th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Ferdinand Chificeac notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Balaceanu UFC's Vlad Popete. Vlad Popete was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 44 minutes into the game, Aron Teodorescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Purcaresti CSS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Balaceanu UFC the free kick. In the 44th minute, Aron Teodorescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th match minute, Balaceanu UFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Abutnăriței to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Purcaresti CSS were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Manuel Pășcuțoiu to make the kick off. Octav Tomoioagă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anton Negru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alin Holban having to interfere. Ilie Cobâlcescu kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. The supporters of Balaceanu UFC booed when Purcaresti CSS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Stafie didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 62 minutes, Octav Tomoioagă managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Purcaresti CSS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Octav Tomoioagă was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ferdinand Chificeac took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vlad Popete. Vlad Popete dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Purcaresti CSS's Ferdinand Chificeac got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Octav Tomoioagă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vlad Popete having to interfere. Alin Holban took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Pășcuțoiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Purcaresti CSS's Alin Holban played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Negru in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st match minute, Balaceanu UFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Abutnăriței to maneuver through the defense. Alin Holban showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Pășcuțoiu in the 87th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Purcaresti CSS's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Negru came free, but Alin Holban reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute Manuel Pășcuțoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alin Holban saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute, Basarab Lera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Balaceanu UFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Purcaresti CSS were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
