The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gabriel Wellens during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ulan Bator Football Club's Gabriel Wellens got a free kick in the 10th minute. Klaus Snyers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michel Schooters in the 11th minute of the match. SK Gullegem's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Gabriel Wellens 13 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Gabriel Wellens took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Stefaan Van Hoyveldt to make any attempt to save it. A sloppy throw-in by Arnold Haesevoets in the 25th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by SK Gullegem's Edmond Walder. Klaus Snyers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albertus Reijdams in the 27th minute of the match. Bruno Mattheijs kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Stefaan Van Hoyveldt was a little too slow when Willem-Jan Coussement got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 6-0. In the 43rd match minute, Ulan Bator Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Willem-Jan Coussement to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ferdinand Pelsers got free with Stefaan Van Hoyveldt in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Ulan Bator Football Club's Gabriel Wellens got a free kick in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gabriel Wellens made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Frederic Hollandts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute of the match Eric Van Hinnendaels shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stefaan Van Hoyveldt showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Stefaan Van Hoyveldt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Willem-Jan Coussement, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to SK Gullegem getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Edmond Walder hit a great ball. Ferdinand Pelsers scored 7-1 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stefaan Van Hoyveldt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Albertus Reijdams received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Klaus Snyers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Albertus Reijdams in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Klaus Snyers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. SK Gullegem's Stefaan Van Hoyveldt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdinand Pelsers in the 88th minute of play. 93 minutes into the game, Ferdinand Pelsers cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-1. Stefaan Van Hoyveldt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ulan Bator Football Club were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SK Gullegem for a fine match.
