After some careless play in the Apricis Bruxella defense, Gwen Wegers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luke Gevaert. The Apricis Bruxella fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luke Gevaert should have stopped the shot. Izak Debrouwere got a throw-in 14 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ward Emeleers. In the 15th minute Gwen Wegers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luke Gevaert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Richy Demeulemeester made a precise shot to the right of Luke Gevaert. Apricis Bruxella's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Richy Demeulemeester's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luke Gevaert read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Apricis Bruxella's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Beek City the free kick. In the 29th minute, Rajmond Van den Berghe made a precise shot to the right of Luke Gevaert. Apricis Bruxella's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Apricis Bruxella's Luke Gevaert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richy Demeulemeester in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, Rajmond Van den Berghe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Beek City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Apricis Bruxella the free kick. After a rather tough play, Beek City's Rajmond Van den Berghe got a free kick in the 34th minute. Luke Gevaert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gwen Wegers, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. When Beek City's Gwen Wegers in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Richy Demeulemeester let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 51st minute shot 1-5 at rihgt post. If Richy Demeulemeester had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luke Gevaert made an important save on a dangerous shot by Richy Demeulemeester in the 74th minute. Christof Lenaerts hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. When Richy Demeulemeester came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Beek City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Richy Demeulemeester couldn't finish the play. 80 minutes into the game, Fabrice Bracke was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Beek City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Apricis Bruxella the free kick. After 80 played minutes Beek City got a freekick which was hit by Fabrice Bracke. After 85 minutes of play Apricis Bruxella's Christof Lenaerts was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 87 minutes into the match, Apricis Bruxella's goal looked a bit too open when Richy Demeulemeester came free, but Luke Gevaert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
