Gerrit Diependaele was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rolf Stevens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Portus Ganda's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sammy Cuejvers was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Lucas Geijselinckx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Vits, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute, Wim Vits got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 28 minutes into the match, Portus Ganda's goal looked a bit too open when Loid Van Parijs came free, but Gerrit Diependaele reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the game, Rolf Stevens recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lucas Geijselinckx. Rolf Stevens showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. In the 46th minute Sammy Cuejvers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerrit Diependaele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Loid Van Parijs made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolf Stevens in the 53rd minute of play forced Racing Matinette's goalkeeper Lucas Geijselinckx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ruud Smeyers kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Racing Matinette's Lucas Geijselinckx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Vits in the 55th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Racing Matinette's Ruud Smeyers got a free kick in the 57th minute. Lucas Geijselinckx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Vits, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. If Wim Vits had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ludwig Tombeur hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Rolf Stevens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Geijselinckx having to interfere. Wim Vits sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Wim Vits had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Portus Ganda's Gerrit Diependaele proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Portus Ganda from getting a goal against them. In the 85th minute Wim Vits shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Geijselinckx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Ludwig Tombeur got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lucas Geijselinckx quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
