The tension between the FC Bruges and the Forza Heppenbach players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Forza Heppenbach booed when FC Bruges was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bastian Cuveliers didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the FC Bruges defense, Ward Raeymakers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jasper Opdebeeck. The FC Bruges fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jasper Opdebeeck should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ward Raeymakers in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jasper Opdebeeck saved FC Bruges from getting behind. Ward Raeymakers took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jasper Opdebeeck. Jasper Opdebeeck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The supporters of FC Bruges booed when Forza Heppenbach was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geert Vissenaeken didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 42 minutes into the game, when Joppe Airpoel put in a rough tackle. In the 41st minute, one of Forza Heppenbach:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Forza Heppenbach. The FC Bruges players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Forza Heppenbach were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Matthy Smets stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. FC Bruges's Jasper Opdebeeck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthonio Van Buyten in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute, Dean Costermans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dominic Vlimmens in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jasper Opdebeeck, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Dominic Vlimmens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Dominic Vlimmens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd match minute, FC Bruges was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bastian Cuveliers to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Dominic Vlimmens managed to get in a good position for a shot. Forza Heppenbach's supporters rose to their feet, but Dominic Vlimmens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jasper Opdebeeck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 84 minutes, Anthonio Van Buyten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Forza Heppenbach's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anthonio Van Buyten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anthonio Van Buyten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jasper Opdebeeck having to interfere. With a little luck, FC Bruges's Jasper Opdebeeck got control of the ball when Geert Vissenaeken tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 91 minutes, Geert Vissenaeken mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Forza Heppenbach and the FC Bruges players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match was over Forza Heppenbach could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Bruges throughout the match.
